Expanding our portfolio: CIRFOOD is the new catering service for the Province of Friesland
As of 1 October 2023, CIRFOOD is providing the food services for Provincie Fryslân (the Province of Friesland). This partnership marks an expansion of our portfolio both in the BI sector and in Friesland. The province has selected CIRFOOD as the new hospitality partner for all food services, including the Provinciehuis in Leeuwarden and banqueting events on the state yacht Friso in Skulherne. Sustainability and partnerships with local suppliers were key considerations in the tendering process.
Duorsum Smakelân – A made-to-measure concept
Especially for Provincie Fryslân, CIRFOOD has developed the concept ‘Duorsum Smakelân’ (‘Sustainable Flavourland’ in Frisian). This combines traditional home cooking with a culinary journey around the world and offers a wide range to suit everyone’s taste. ‘Ús Lokale Hoeke’ (‘Our Local Corner’) offers a stage for local products, celebrating the rich variety of flavours from the region.
