Duorsum Smakelân - A customized concept
Especially for the province of Fryslân, CIRFOOD has developed the concept ‘Duorsum Smakelân’. 'Duorsum Smakelân' combines traditional home cooking with a culinary journey around the world and also offers a wide assortment to suit everyone's taste. In ‘Ús lokale hoeke’, CIRFOOD provides a stage for local products through which we celebrate the rich diversity of flavors from the region. Think of delicacies such as Frisian sugar bread, Fryske Dúmkes and Oranjekoek and cheese from De Molkerij.
The concept takes into account the desired objectives and different guest profiles. Sustainability was central to the tender, combined with promoting cooperation with local suppliers. Guests here are enticed to choose healthy, local, conscious and sustainable food although there is also room for guilty pleasures. In short: a hospitality concept that guests love, love to stay in and love to come back to!
