CIRFOOD has developed several food hospitality concepts. The concepts are broadly applicable to different segments (Education and B&I). All concepts have one thing in common, our culinary roots. Our food concepts, with the Mediterranean diet as our guiding star, guarantee pure ingredients, full flavors, local products and healthy dishes. Our approach - a customized concept

For each partner, we develop a customized concept. A concept that fits the needs, target groups and objectives of the organization. Whether it is a large restaurant, a ‘Grab & Go’, a Healthy Fridge or an espresso bar. In the case of the province of Friesland, the Duorsum Smakelân concept was developed.

Duorsum Smakelân - A customized concept

Especially for the province of Fryslân, CIRFOOD has developed the concept ‘Duorsum Smakelân’. 'Duorsum Smakelân' combines traditional home cooking with a culinary journey around the world and also offers a wide assortment to suit everyone's taste. In ‘Ús lokale hoeke’, CIRFOOD provides a stage for local products through which we celebrate the rich diversity of flavors from the region. Think of delicacies such as Frisian sugar bread, Fryske Dúmkes and Oranjekoek and cheese from De Molkerij.

The concept takes into account the desired objectives and different guest profiles. Sustainability was central to the tender, combined with promoting cooperation with local suppliers. Guests here are enticed to choose healthy, local, conscious and sustainable food although there is also room for guilty pleasures. In short: a hospitality concept that guests love, love to stay in and love to come back to!

Chef driven

Led by a talented chef, our Cirfoodies work here every day to create the ultimate dining experience. An important part of the dining experience is that we prepare the dishes fresh, in front of our guests, with local products, taking into account their wishes and preferences. In doing so, we like to apply mixing & matching: a base of different ingredients and toppings, our guests put together their own soup or salad.

Frisian pride

To strengthen the sense of connection with the region, most of the signing is in Frisian. We also connect in this way to the communication throughout the building. This not only ensures recognizability, but also a warm welcome - a subtle but powerful gesture towards the employees of the Province of Fryslân.
